At Colfax Charter, our mathematics program seeks to immerse students in solid math principals based in real world situations. A variety of innovative programs make our math curriculum engaging for all students across the grade levels.

Using the new enVisionMATH series, students access the California State Mathematics Standards in interactive learning modules meant to engage, assess, and reinforce skills in a variety of modalities. Technology components bring math concepts to life through interactive games and videos, and allow teachers to differentiate instruction based on the needs of each student. Additionally, for the first time, parents can use the internet to bring what children are learning in school into the home. Additionally, through the generous support of our parent organizations, Colfax Charter is able to participate in the Mind and Music program, a research-based, comprehensive, supplemental math program that uses math games to reinforce problem solving skills. Combined with mathematics music instruction, Colfax has seen a gain of over 300 points in our mathematics API score.
