Our PTA is a part of a national organization that promotes parent participating in public education. Our Colfax PTA funds the Colfax Dateline, Colfax Arts Assemblies, the Scholastic Book Fair, Holiday Boutique, Teacher Appreciation and runs the holiday food and toy drives for needy students.

We urge you, your relatives and neighbors to become a member of our PTA each year.

Membership is only $12.00 and allows us to continue our good work and to be represented by the national PTA on federal education issues.  $6.50 of this fee is sent directly to the National PTA organisation and $5.50 is retained by Colfax PTA for use here at Colfax.

New this year... you can buy your membership via our online Web Store, and print your own membership card immediately.  You can return at any time in the year to reprint your membership card should you misplace it.  You can also make a voluntary donation to our Colfax PTA on this store should you wish to.

Alternatively cash is accepted in the PTA envelopes available through your classroom as well as in the office and checks can be written to "Colfax Charter PTA".

Thank you for supporting our school.

PTA Activities

Cut out the box top vouchers from the top of many popular packaging brands and submit to your teacher throughout the year.  We have a competition to be the classroom who collects the most!  Box tops are exchanged for $'s and we use these funds to directly help our Colfax children.

Around Thanksgiving we ask families to donate specific canned and packaged foods to be

donated to our Colfax families in need of help to make a family thanksgiving dinner.

The holidays bring our Colfax Holiday Boutique.  Children get the opportunity to 'shop' at the boutique and find gifts for all their family, whilst combining their math skills.

Our Parent Ed series offers FREE seminars for parents to learn new skills and techniques to support their parenting style.  This safe environment allows parents to share their concerns or specific issues with the professional running the seminar, and share the answer and helpful suggestions with everyone.

We collect new toys for children in our Colfax Families who may not otherwise have the opportunity

to enjoy gifts at the holiday time.
